    L9101 and Z axis probing

I'm trying to write code that will use double touch probing via L9101 to set a fixture Z axis offset. I'm trying:

    L9101 R1+1. Z-10. F50. P1

What I am finding is that this gives me an error pertaining to axes. (I am not near the machine and don't have the exact error text.)

Of note, I'm running this in G17 mode when it fails. I find I can run this in G18 or G19 mode and it lowers the probe, however it is simultaneously making an X and/or Y move.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Ryan
