I just purchased a China cnc 6040 table and have Mach3, Sheetcam, and am designing with Illustrator. I'm a complete newbie to cnc and cad/cam and am looking for anyone in the Des Moines Iowa area that would be interested in coming to help me set up my machine and get it up and running and teaching me a few things. I'm willing to pay and would greatly appreciate it. I've had it for a few months and have done lots of research so I'm not 100% unknowledged but not far off. I've got it set up and manually moving (possibly able to accept g-code but haven't tried yet). It's been a slow process and really overwhelming so I suppose its time to reach out for help. Got this machine to make extra money with and it's been slower to get started than I was hoping for. Thanks in advance.
