    Favorite Super PID Enclosures

What is the best solid (3D) models or dimensions or designs of enclosures that you think work well?
    Thanks..

If it's a new machine, or, if you have room, I'd put it in the control box with the drives.

This is good advice! You should strive to minimize connections and long wire runs in a machine design. Of course that can't always happen, if you need a separate box go with a metallic solution.

I only mention this because your quest for a 3D design has me thinking you want to 3D print an enclosure. While technically plastic enclosures work they offer no shielding capability.

I put mine in the enclosure box. Wouldn't do it any other way.
