    Bobcad issue

Need some help please. I am trying to figure out how to mill out the area between the 2 brown lines in the enclosed picture. I have tried evereything I know how to do but haven't had any luck. I have tried the pocket feature but when I used this it wants to pocket out the center section which is a hub area that needs to be left. When I choose profile and have to choose left or right compensation it makes my tool path correct for one but then other side will be wrong. Thanks in advance for any information !!

    bcnu,

Can you attach a part file to be looked at. It is hard to say without looking at the selected geometry on the toolpath.

You can ignore the lines in the middle , we tried that to see if it would clean up the area we wanted to mill out the pocket in. The area between the outside green line and the inside brown line is what i need to mill out

    bcnu,

The issue is likely because your outer shape has gaps in it. This will prevent it from functioning correctly, as it won't notice the outer shape is water tight.

I will take a look at that and see if that is the issue and let you know. Thanks

Not sure if this is right, is the area shown on the image what you are looking to mill out ? ?

If so then it was some of the geometry appeared to have double entities which when cleared away allowed the outer dotted circle and the inner shape to be selected and allowed the toolpath shown using a 0.75mm cutter on a small 10% stepover.

If not then let us know which area it is
