    Re: laser chilling

15-20C is what I aim for. I don't know if there is an optimum setting, but I've seen commercial ones run at 8C

The cooler you can run it, the more power it will put out.

How to adjust the water temperature for CW-5000 water chiller
CW-5000 chillers are popular for its 2 temperature control modes as constant temperature and intelligent temperature control.Generally speaking, the defaulted setting for the temperature controller is intelligent temperature control mode. Under intelligent temperature control mode, the water temperature will adjust itself according to the ambient temperature. However, under constant temperature control mode, users can adjust the water temperature manually.
Firstly, we need to change to constant temperature mode
    1. Press and keep holding ? key and SET buttons
Then waiting for 5 seconds until 0 displayed
    2. Press ? key to switch to 8 and release the key
    3. Press SET key, and it displays F0
    4. Press ? key to switch to F3
    5. Press SET key and it displays 1
    6. Press ? to adjust to 0
    7. 1 means intelligent control, 0 means constant control
Now the chiller is working in constant temperature mode to adjust the water temp.
    1. Press SET key and it displays F3
    2. Press ? to adjust to F0
    3. Press SET button into setup status
    4. Press ??buttons to set water temp as you need
    5. Press RST key to save the modification

It is better to run at 20-30C for the CW-5000 chiller and the refrigeration is the best
