    Re: bridgeport boss 5 retrofit

im open to purchasing the components individually. but making sure each component will work with the others i would need help with. id like to set it up as good as the original controls or better. so what is available to run the stock steppers at the proper speed? what dictates speed limitations?

You may want to look at a plug and play system from MachMotion. Should come in a lot less than Centroid, and if I'm not mistaken, may have a system that will utilize the origional steppers or servos you already have.
