    Arrow 1000 Vickers Acramatic 2100 Controller Display Washed Out

    Hello and thank you in advance for any help offered! Was setting up my mill today, looked over and my controller display was blank with a blue/black squiggly line running through it. I quickly powered it down, as it was powering down, the screen display came back, but was washed out with lines running through it. When I booted back up...wash out screen display and it now looks like you are looking through the touch screen rather then being displayed on the touch screen, if that makes sense. Touch screen still works, seems to respond as normal. Anybody else have any experience with this type of problem?
    Thank you again, Bill

    Bill,

    If you have the old CRT this is somewhat normal for a control of that age. You have some adjustments in the CRT in the back. It may be time to upgrade to a LED screen. You should only need a new display if the touch screen is working.

    I swapped out the CRT with a LCD today. Somewhat reasonably priced on eBay.
    The display is a Sharp LQ121S1LG45 with a generic VGA module.
    Fits like a glove!

    Hi, meckardt55!

    Sure can do - i bought a kit similar to this;

    Display Kit on eBay

    The difference between my display and the one in the link above are backlight type - my display have tubes but this one seems to have LED.
    Price is about the same (mine was 85$), but my purchase included a 12V power supply.
    There are several displays to choose from if you do a search on eBay, but be certain that you choose a 12.1 inch unit with 4:3 picture format, 800x600 resolution.

    I had to connect a male/male adapter to fit the original VGA-cable and hook up the provided 12V supply to the original mains.
    The display itself sits neatly in the original foam surrounding the screen - will have to secure it better, perhaps with strips of double sided tape.

    Regards
