Folks,

I'm stuck with some guitar body and neck designs that I don't think I will be able to machine myself, locally, any time soon. Do you know of any shops that do this kind of work for hire? I'm talking specifically about electric guitar body and neck machining, along with fretboard machining. There will be some 3D surfacing involved as well. Any shops you know of and can advise on is appreciated!

I think I can help you with that sir, if you have a CNC machine in your part I can guide you through on it, any inch of detail on your designed electric guitar, even the wiring and everything I made my first electric guitar since I was in 3rd year high school with no CNC at all, right now if all things set-up on the CNC`s in the shop I think I can finish an electric guitar in just half day not including the paint because it need time to cure it. I can provide G-codes on your preferred body designs, just give me the details on it, or if you want a hassle free work I think I can and have the capability to mass produce it for you but that involves importing stuff in your country and yet again another type of hassle for you, but if you do it on your side I think you can cut cost of production by half not to mention piracy if you will let others do it for you, BTW im a lead guitarist in our band during my college days, it`s all about originality, weight, crisp tones, stiffness of the body, body color, ergonomics to make a great and fantastic electric guitar, personally I like the ibañez electric guitar, fits like a glove on me



We do have some customers over there in the US sir, they out sourced their designed products here in our place, we just deliver the finished products via DHL, but it`s not musical instruments, its gun parts and grips I cannot post it here though to protect our clients

That guitar looks great! I appreciate your help. To be clear, I am just looking for a source that can machine my CAD files. I would do it myself but I don't have access to a reliable machine at the moment.

Do you have a CNC machine on your place sir? if yes maybe I can help you on it, love to, I program CAMs on lines that`s why im confident enough that you can do it using a custom CAM on the CNC machine

Ok let me put it this way, give me an example of a guitar body or fret arm (any model) then I can give you the code on it and do it on your CNC, I just need a specific dimensions on it then you can start cutting with just one tool bit sir no need to change tool bits try me..

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but you seem to be missing what I am saying: I do NOT have access to a CNC machine, not in the short term. I have been a CNC machinist for the past 25 years and can program machines no problem, that is what I used to do for a living. I am looking to HIRE a shop with machines that can do the machining for me. Thank you.

I have them all over the world.
