    surface finish

When generating tool path in solids kind of the shape of a half of an egg,is there a way to make the surface smoother in the cam? Now it is chopped up because each segment is about .100 to.150. Ineed them to be about .020

Check your tool path segment length. The longest segment length = xxxxx when you generate the path.
If you are talking about the simulator that is something different depending upon the settings you choose.
Set the longest path length to 0.0005 or 0.001 and see how the tool path regenerates.

MC_N_G is correct. As far as the Simulator...... it isn't the best. The Surface finishes you see aren't necessarily what the actual part will look like. Follow MC_N_G's instructions on setting up the Tool Path Step Over and Minimum Line Length. The Simulation should be set to "Fine".
