DIY small scale CNC'ers in Upper East Tennessee?

Just got bitten by the CNC bug. I'm interested in small scale hobby type CNC like engraving, routing , 3d printing. Small scale, as Arduino controlled.
Anyone in the Tri-Cities/Greeneville area? Any groups?
I'm more interested in building than buying a system.

Jordan, I have built a MPCNC(Mostly Printed CNC), Check out https://www.v1engineering.com/ for info, parts and plans.
I 3d printed most of the parts. Used EMT conduit from Lowes for the frame, and bought a cheap Chinese spindle with ER-11 collet.
Currently running plots as tests. Having issues getting it all adjusted. Also learning Fusion 360 as a cad system, and trying to figure out how to create plaques, etc.
Maybe others in the area will see this thread and speak up...
    I'm near Johnesborough.
