    Increment the Z.

Is there an easy way to run a program over and over and just increment the Z cutting at each run?

Like if I want to cut out a circle in 20mm mdf, and i only can cut 5mm at a time.?

Hmm I tried that now, but I cant get it to work correctly
Att each pass it just cuts at the same level as the first one.

And if i set the Maximum cut att first pass, to for example 4mm then it started at 4mm when it was supposed to be in the rapid plane.

If someone could describe the process step by step what has to be done when importing a dxf to get it to work correctly it would be very kind.

Say if i wanted to cut 4 times and 5mm at each cut.

Try using LazyCAM. You can set the number of passes. Quick and Easy.

take your original tape open it in a text editor

copy and paste the number of passes you want

    edit you "Z" move accordingly

may seam like a long process but most times it's faster then changing your cam program and re posting the tape

Thanx for the answers, i tried lazycam and it works great, for some reason i get a "Error on line 240" msg when i try to use the multipass wizard,

    This line "NewFile = Mid(OldFile, S , L-1)"

but when i imported the file in lazycam first and then opened it in mach3,
    the wizard worked?

And the reason it acted a little crazy the first time was that my Z axle was inverted

I've only done this a couple of times, but just changed the Z-DRO value at the end of one pass before running the code subsequent times.
