    Hi John! Sorry for the delay. I tried with the pull up resistor between Drain and Input, but noticed no difference so far...

    I soldered everthing and mounted in the box. It seems better, but it´s not still 100% stable. There occasionally some spikes when in close to highest RPM, although much much less now.

    I guess it´s ok now.. I´ll try to post a mini video (if it´s allowed here) so you can check if it´s normal now!

    Thanks Gandes. Exactly where the resistor goes? In series from the output to the gate? Thanks!

    You guys are overthinking it. All you need in this situation is two diodes. Ditch everything else, including the pull-up resistor. The Gecko's optocoupler does not need it, and the tachometer TTL input most likely already has one.
