Smile CNC Mill or CNC Router?

    Hi.

Good to see that there's a lot of CNC activity in OZ.

I'm about to purchase a CNC machine and just wanted to know what to buy: mill or router?

Can't make up my mind...I want to be able to do a bit of R/C model parts but also some serious models such as steam/stirling engines.

I've got the SIEG X3 in mind and an aussie made CNC router from eBay Item number: 200085550793. The SIEG is a pro-style mill where I would be able to do some quality jobs if needed, but the milling area is limited compared to a router...

Any comments about how you made up your mind.
    Thanks.

P.S: Any links to retailers of CNC mills and routers around the $5k mark would be welcome as the aussie retailers link is unavailable.

Here can be a factor, a mill can make a router but a router cant make a mill.
