    Estimating Castings

Is there an easy way to determine the casting cycle time for purposes of estimating the cost of a casting?

I don't think casting cost is entirely based on cycle time. I'd guess that it'd be more driven by casting weight. A large Alum. casting might run you $2-3/lb a smaller one could be $10-15/lb all depending on complexity and quantity. What are you looking to get cast?
