    Adding and axis to fagor 8040M

    Howdy ,

    i have a bridge-port style 2 axis mill with a a 8040 controller and NOW also have the 3rd motor , axis card and cables . My question is once fabrication of this third axis is completed how and where do i start ? As in ....bringing third axis online with plc and cnc . I have all the manuals and haven't quite nailed down where and how I go about setting up parameters

    Im very new to all of this , so take it easy on me .
