    VCarve Pro vs Aspire

I have been using VCarve Pro for about 4 years now with my CNC (3) axis router. Now I just purchased a laser engraver and cutting machine. If I want to do 4th axis or rotary work would I be better to go to Aspire? I would also envision doing 3D work with a 4th axis.

    Thanks.

    Re: VCarve Pro vs Aspire

V Carve Pro has the same rotary capabilities (wrapping) as Aspire.
And the current version of V Carve Pro has 3D machining capabilities.

What Aspire adds is 3D relief modeling capabilities. If you need those, than you probably want to get Aspire. If you don't plan on doing your own modeling, then V Carve Pro can do just about everything else that Aspire can do.

Thanks so much for the advice. I guess I never realized VCarve had the rotary capabilities.
