ChinaCNCzone DSP CNC 6040 Router 4 Axis, 1500W /2200W Spindle questions

    Hello,

I'm looking at this CNC machine and would like to ask a few questions. I have read that lots of these come with hacked version of Mach 3. Can I use a bought version of the new Mach 4 with this machine.
Also I'm trying to figure out if I can run this using USB and windows 10 or do I need to use something different or the SD card slot on the DSP controller? I would like to use this to cut small aluminum molds
so I can test some seal designs. How was it getting this up and running smoothly and accurate? Also I'm not sure what a water sink cooling system is? Does this come with a water pump? Any other advice
or comments you would be great.

    Thank you for the help.

If it's got a DSP control, than it's not using Mach3.
To use it with Mach3/Mach4, or any other Windows control, you'll need a motion controller that's supported by the software you choose.

"Water sink" is just a bad translation of water cooled spindle.

    Hello Dave,

After a long period of research, I finally ordered this machine [CNC 6040Z 4-Axis 1500W 80mm Water-cooling]. I received it today by TNT !
    Attachment 367140
    Attachment 367142

At my request, ChinaCNCRouter made me a version with a USB controller for Mach4.
    Attachment 367144
(This is the first machine they sell like this).
    They talk about it here:

I have not tested yet. I have to prepare the place.
Looking at it, it is a beautiful machine - solid construction.

On the other hand, the spindle is cooled with water. A pump is provided, which also supplies a pipe for the cooling of the workpieces...

The "water sink" is a water recovery tank placed under the CNC.
(I also took time to understand the difference).

I had various contacts (chat) with "Victoria" directly on the site.
(She is therefore aware to provide a version for Mach4).

So much for the first information
