    fadal slide hold turning on

    I have a 22-16 fadal with 88hs control and the slide hold keeps activating on its own during the run cycle. any ideas?

    Do you have a door interlock problem?

    If it is the "EXT HOLD" message that is coming up, then you door interlock switch ing breaking contact. Perhaps the doors have vibrated open some or are mis-aligned. If the missage is "SLide HOLD" then perhaps you have a shorting wire of bad hold switch.

    I don't have the door interlock connected. It has run for about 6 months like this without any issues. And unfortunatly I dont get an error message of any kind the machine just goes into slide hold. spindle stays running. All i do is hit START and it continues as normal. ?????
