    CNC 6040 Planet CNC

    Hi guys,

Purchased a Chinese CNC 6040 machine and am having trouble with activating the licence. The serial number keeps changing and the activation code I have does not work as the serial number is wrong. Is there anything that can be done about this? The machine was fine fopr a few days and now the software is in evaluation mode so I am stuck with a machine which won't function for any more than 25 lines of G code.

    Can somebody advise please?

    Regards,

    Raj

My guess is that the machine came with a pirated version of the Planet CNC board, which is what's causing the issue.

    Re: CNC 6040 Planet CNC

same here my activation key and serial number changed
with my interaction with planet-cnc i was told that the board i have is a "fake"

I purchase i license from planet-cnc for 69 euro last week and i was able to activate and register my "fake" controller.

now i'm trying to use it but my desktop freezes!
i tried my laptop with larger graphics card and the freezing was corrrected so far

    still learning and a newbie
