Issues with dynamic tool paths and mach3

Is there a limitation to the speed of Mach 3 communication to the drives? My machine has issues when I run dynamic tool paths that have a lot of I-j codes. I have servos and never have issues when I run normal tool paths. It just really seems to be the the thousand and hundred thousand i-j's. some of the dynamic paths I run have 600,000-900,000 lines of g-code.

    What are dynamic tool paths?
Does turning off the toolpath display help?

The dynamic tool paths are made to keep constant contact between the tooling and the workpiece. It helps for faster machining but utilizes a lot of arcs instead of lines. He's a video of one https://youtu.be/1zOghXwb-SU

I have not tried to disable the display

Do you know if I should have it set to constant velocity when a lot of arcs are coded?

Imo, you should always be using Constant Velocity mode.

That might have been my issue. I'm trying it now.

What is a good value for the cv distance? I'm running servos so it shouldn't be losing count.

    Thanks

With lots of arcs, there could be a "round-off" accumulation error,
I tried those paths on a Fadal and after a few hundred moves it lost it's brains.
Is your machine control capable of 4 decimal places Like .0001 or .0005 or .001?

Should be capable of ten thousands but I'll verify and see it I can measure a move that small

I'd disable CV Feedrate and CV distance.

I verified that it jogs .0001. I didn't measure it but I could see the ball screw and coupling move the most ever so small amount lol.
