How to set the time and date

    Hi,
We have just changed the memory battery in the back of the machine (VF0E) and now the date is wrong.

Can anyone tell me how to set the date/time again. Many thanks.

    DomB:

See p21 of the HAAS on-line mill manual. I am not where I can check it now.

Just tried the help key thing as on p21 of the manual, does nothing, I must have an older mocon system. Any other ideas.

    Thanks

The control contains a clock and date function. To view the time and date, press the Help button until the date
    and time appears.
Setting the date and time, use the Up and Down arrow keys to select the date or time. Use the Right and Left
arrow keys or the jog handle to make adjustments.

    hope this helps

Checked our 93 machine. Date and time do not exist. Checked 2000 manual and it indicates date at #3011 and time #3012. As usual HAAS indexing is not satisfactory. Looked at these variables in 98 machine. Date and time are present, but they can not be written to, and I do not know how to enable writing to them. Quick look at 2000 manual gave no useful information on setting date and time.

    daleman:

Under HELP on the 98 machine I can not find date and time.

2000 machine is currently tied up.

This is from the online manual.

This only works on the newer machines mine is 2000 and it doesn't work.

    Thanks anyway.

Yep I've trawled up and down every setting and parameter from every mode and can find no date or time.

The Haas service guy entered a service mode by pressing reset and one other key whilst turning on the machine and that gave him more options perhaps it needs setting from there. Does anyone know the buttons to press??

    Many thanks
    Dom
