I am doing side work with a local small shop. I am working on getting a Miyano BNC 34T programmed and running a simple part. This machine is unfamiliar to me and there in no one there that knows anything about it. My issue is end of the part is turned down to .1065 the first .405 so I am trying to turn that close to the collet and then bump it out to finish the rest of the part. When it goes to call up the tool to bump it our I get a 507 p/s alarm which I know it an overtravel alarm. I have tried changing the tool offset (T72) I have tried changing the B approach dimension. I am kinda stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Note bar stop datum front of component = B0
face bar at the first desired position
bring bar stop in b axis to touch this face and lock in position
enter the screen position into b geometery this is now B 0 datum
make sure that you have enough travel on b axis for the movment you require
i think the b axis has just over 9 inches of stroke
note b is moving in minus towards collet for feed out of bar and plus away from collet for component length

Thanks for the reply. I cant remember what I did I did get it working a few days after this post. Then a few days later the backup battery died and wiped the memory lol The joys of doing side work on unmaintained machines.
