Hello, MACH3 wont generate a toolpath. top right screen is light gray? restarted several times, it will ref all home fine, it will open and display the program, but hang up on generating toolpath. i also cant set my G54??? i can jog all over, re ref all home fine?????????help! thanks

mach 3 is not cam program it only reads g code not produces it.

I produce G code either through Fusion360 or manually write it in notepad. My MACH3 software is not working as it always has and i don't know why. I suspect i need to un-install/re-install MACH3 which i beleive i need the internet for, however do not have Ethernet in the shop, so i'm hoping to find another solution. In my MACH3 setup, when a "Load G Code" command is initiated the file loads and it cut path is generated in the upper right screen. During loading a window momentarily opens indicating its gerearting the tool path, the same thing happen's when you press the REGEN TOOLPATH" . Mine now hangs up and never loads the program. Has anyone else encountered this and how did it get fixed? If a uninstall/re-install is required, is there a way to do it without the internet?

try under general settings tab- ignore macros when loading

MACH will not load "bad" code. See it the entire g-code loads and you can scroll to the end in the G-Code window. Use some code that loaded before. You may have the wrong POST selected in the CAM.

Hey all, thanks for the responces! I came across an old post that gave me the solution! while its hung up on generating the toolpath, press reset, then regen toolpath, and there it is!
