Is there anyone who makes precision pin gages to check length instead of the diameter? I am needing one that need to be 1.000 long and needs to be certified. For my application the body needs to be around .500 but again the diameter will not be gaging anything. We are not able to use gage blocks for this application, that is why we are looking for a round pin type.. Thanks in advance for any information !!

you can try using a calibration standard used for calibrating 1-2” micrometers but I’m not sure if the are certified.

Yes we thought of that but the Diameter is .250 and we need a diameterof .500 for our application
