CO2 Laser Beam iis just an "O" Ring

Hi!I'm a new member here but I've been a long time lurker.

The forums helped me alot these past couple of years with my laser cutters.
But now I've encountered a problem that I have no solution for. Basically, the beam coming out of the tube looks like a big "O" instead of a dot.

What could be the causes of this and what are the possible solutions for it?
    Thank you very much!

I'm not a expert and really just spit-balling here but. wouldn't a dirty emitter or a damaged mirror cause this? the output is only allowed to come out if its in a cretin phase. so a patern like this would probably be caused by damage or dirt? maybe.

This is right out of the laser right? not after a mirror.

Yes right out of the laser. Will double check for dirt stuck inside the tube. Thanks!

i was more thinking on the front emitter/element, but the other problem might be focus. has the laser tube been bumped? could the front element been knocked?

That I am not sure of. My guy said it was working perfectly fine when he left the workshop and was like this when he got back today.
I'm pretty sure that it would have to be a pretty strong bump to move the front element significantly.

But I'll still double check. Thanks!

If your mirrors are aligned correctly and your lens clean give it a try. It might be fine engraving or cutting. If not, its new tube time.

Shucks. If that's the case, good thing I have a back up tube lying around haha.

Are you sure it wasn't like that before? That's perfectly normal for a number of different industrial machines I've worked on. All 2kw or greater power.
