    Conversion

Hi we have 4 XYZ machines and are excellent BUT we also have a pinnacle with a Acu-Right controller the question is can you convert this to a XYZ protrack controller this making all machines the same as Acu-right is murder to use plus it only has a floppy disk drive for inputing code from Alphacam

    thanks

    Re: Conversion

The short answer is YES. As long as the Pinnacle machine ''looks'' like the XYZ machine to the controller it should work fine. The difficulty might be in getting the Pinnacle machine to be compatible with the ProTrack controller. The most important issue would be the axis motor/drive compatibility. If they are controlled in the same way on both machines then it should be pretty easy.
