    Fanuc 6m Manual reference return

Hi, Can anyone help me try to home an axis without actually moving it. I have machine with a fanuc 6mb control and there is an issue with one of the axis motors but i want to carry on using it without that axis. The machine needs to see that axis as "homed" before it will let me carry on. Is there a parameter or grid shift parameter I can change to say the axis is in a homed state. I hope that makes sense.

    Thank you

Is there a [ Machine Lock ] key on the machine......?
If soo, key ON and Home the machine, maybe it works.

reach in and turn the ball screw. if the axis doesn't have a break on it, it will move easily.
