Dyna Myte 2400 CNC Drip Feeding Question

Anyone have experience drip feeding one of these old Dyna Myte CNC mills and if so what post are you using to generate G-code.

I've picked one up and brought it back on line. I've got it where I can upload and download code but, I noticed the G-code is a convention that I'm not familiar with.

I was told the machine is designed around the Fanuc 6M but it uses commands like:

    FR instead of F

    Spindle/On Spindle/Off instead of M3,M4

END in place of M30, has some quirky leading block requirements and lord knows what else.

I'm going to give it some Fanuc G-code today and see how it reacts but, I suspect I'll need a custom post file for it.

Any help would be well... helpful.

    Thanks

I got it to work using NC-Link software.

As far as the code, I used MasterCam and downloaded the DynaMyte post-processor, which I had to modify. I'll try to look up that topic as well.

I seldom come here anymore , but just wondering if someone has this Dyna Myte 2400 working either with the OEM or conversion to Mach 3/4 what kind of rapids are you getting without losing steps and practical milling speeds in aluminum? Been down this road before on another DIY mill and it ended up being so slow as to be nearly useless.
