    Number of passes on a lathe

    I'm turning down a steel part and I'm trying to get Feature to write in lighter passes, it's cutting too heavy for the tool to handle. Is there a way to do this? I only use this software a few a year so there's always some new option I'm always trying to figure out.

    Go to the properties of the feature. Click on Rough Operation. There is a tab called Turning. Change Depth of Cut to your needs.
