    Anilam "Handy Pulser" wiring

    Greetings to All
I have a Bridgeport fitted with Anilam 3000M control and I am using a "Handy Pulser" remote handwheel unit (supplied by Anilam). Unfortunately the cable has pulled out of the 25 pin "D" plug which plugs into Anilam cabinet. I need a connection diagram to enable me to re-solder these connections. Can anyone help? Also can anyone give me email adress of Anilam technical support in USA

I found a hand wheel on eBay and wired it up using the attached pdf. The hand wheel works OK but the axis select and feed multiplier don't, should they work on a 3300m control. Are there some other settings somewhere. I can use F8 to change axis and the jog button to change feed rate is the some way to map these to the switches on the hand wheel.

    Thanks Mark

    Re: Anilam "Handy Pulser" wiring

    Hi guys,

Was hoping any one has encountered problem like this before.

I'm using Anilam 3300M controller with an old NUM pulser.

I've got the pulser working, but I cannot control the XYZ axis.

I can select it on the menu, but the axis doesn't actually change, just stays in X all the time no matter what I select. But when I do select DISABLE, the handwheel option goes off ...

I'm thinking maybe something to do with the software ?

Also, on the 3300M, the handwheel goes to one of the two CTR ports, which is a 9 pin connector.

    any ideas ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

From what I've seen, it connects to the 25 pin connector labeled'handwheel', so you may need to put a new connector on if it has a 9 pin on it. Search for DB25, I think
