Hi there I recently brought a 2004 Quantum S2700D VMC with anilam 5000M control.
When installed and first fired it up I was getting X & Z lag over max error message when trying to Home axis in
and servo's would shut down.I played around a bit with adjusting drive belts tension .cleaned limit switches.
All of a sudden it decided to do as its told and it homed ok.I was off and running.So machine was ok for a couple of weeks
don a few jobs mill drill & tap.When suddenly it just finish a job under program.an the I put in manual mode started to move
X table axis along .it moved approx. 300mm then servo,s shut down and it stopped.
Now does not seem as if it wants to go.Can reference Y axis in and it runs fine
It can Reference Z in as well but when you try to move it after that it shuts down
And X Axis is back to shuts down as soon as you hit button to home it.
Then You Get X lag over max error on screen.
Has anyone got any other ideas to check what may be cuasing this to happen.
Closest Technitian is a 1000miles away and will cost fortune to come here.
