    Vetric Aspire V CNC

    Hi Guys
I have bought a Intechcnc LFM6090 twin spindle cnc router from china. Just realized the fact that this machine does not recognize G-code programmes from Vectric Aspire software through it's DSP controller without deleting a portion of the code from the start down to N180G94. By doing this the machine will run the programme but the spindle speed and feed rate are not the one's set by Aspire software. They run at the same speeds and feeds as if you were to turn on these manually from the DSP. And it's the same speed and feed for every programme brought through the DSP.

Question : Is there any way I can get the machine to recognize the Aspire speeds and feeds by bypassing the DSP somehow or using another type of controller or method, without changing the main board of the machine which would not be financially viable and all sorts of things could go wrong - I believe !

Now the machine does have mach3 and does recognize Artcam software programme's completley.

Would appreciate any feed back on this at all. Thanks.

Mach3 and the DSP are two different controls. Are you using both?

If it works with Artcam, then you should be able to modify your Aspire post to output usable code.

In Aspire, under help, there's a Post Processor editing guide.
If you open the ArtCAM post you are using and the Vectrric post you are using in Notepad, you'll see that they are very similar in format, and you should be able to figure out what you need to change. If not, upload both post processor files here.

OK Ger, I appreciate that. I will give it a go and hopefully it will work out. Thanks.
