    K40 laser will align but not cut or engrave

    Recently purchased K40 laser engraver off eBay. Arrived undamaged. It aligned with no problems. Installed Corel LaserDraw. Entered machine model and id and laser is connected. When I send job to the laser it will move as if it is performing the pattern but no laser cutting or engraving occurs. Checked power supply and DSP board. Power supply works and test is green when button is pressed. Again, the laser will fire for aligning but not for cutting. Any ideas?

    Is there a test function? Try a test if nothing open the back and see if bulb is on. It will be a light blue. Those machines can be a pain.

    Go to the google group/commuity "K40 LASER CUTTING ENGRAVING MACHINE"
    a simple search will find it. Explain & ask there and I've no doubt they will help.
