Well, I looked and looked and I could not find a solution to my problem. Hopefully someone here can help.
I have a Leadshine MX4660 controller with a SmoothStepper Ethernet connected to it. Port1 from the ESS is connected to the DB25 of the MX4660 using ribbon cable.
I'm using Mach3 software
I've been using the machine for a few months with no problems.
Then yesterday...
I'm trying to get a Z-Home switch installed.
Input1 is used for X, Y, and Z (UP only) endstops (Port 1 Pin 10)
Input 2 is used for X Home (Port 1 Pin 11)
Input 3 is used fro Y Home (Port 1 Pin 12)
Input 4 is used for the tool touch probe. (Port 1 Pin 13) (not sure if I need this)
All these switches work.
Also my E-Stop switch works.(Port 1 Pin 15)
I wired the Z-home switch to the Input 5 terminal of the MX4660
Assigned Port 2 Pin 10 to Z-Home
I do not see the switch getting activated in the Mach3 Diagnostic when it is pressed.
Did I miss something ?
