Can the Haas do "G54P1" style offsets.

On the Fanuc you can do a G54.1P1 for fixture offsets above G59. Does the Haas run this code the same way?

    The Manual says G54-G59 then G110 - G129.

I'm writting a post and I'm looking for the simplest way to do this.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike,

Nope. Haas, in their infinite wisdom, decided to do it different than Fanuc, and they only give you 26 as opposed to 54.

What CAM system are you writing the post for? Maybe someone has already done this.

You can use G10L*P* to set work offsets where L1P1 IS G54 and I believe L2 P1 IS G110 P2 IS G111 ETC.

Depends on the age of the machine, recent Haas can do way more than 26. The ones above G129 use a different command that is 'something' P. Look in their manual online.

Well, he said HIS manual said G54-G59 and G110-G129, so that's what I went with. Too bad they didn't come up with a "Fanuc Compatible" work coordinate system setting.

G54 Thru G59 is still available

not sure if this is an option?
If you can ENVISION it I can make it
