    Unhappy Citizen cincom B12 449 A3 Axis: inv. IPM Alarm

    hi i'm new here
    I live in Costa Rica and have a problem with the alarm IPM 449 on the A3 axis (subspindle) on the servo amplifier display appears the letter A.


    How can i fix it?

    Letter A on the servo drive is a parameter has been set wrong

    ipm is intelegent power module(or something to that effect) it monitors current and voltage applied to the motor. alarm on the drive will be either a,8,9 it tells you which axis is affected. i have been told most common problem is motor power cable, followed by motor, finally amplifer. i have attaced a link to an article that gives a basic trouble shooting explanation. the information i have is for tsugamis so the axis's wont match up
