    Matsuura MC-500V in Home Garage

    Hello,

I have the ability to buy an MC-500V. Good price, it is local, and from what i have read, they are good machines. My plan is to rebuild it and convert it over to Mach 3.

Million Dollar questions, I cannot find the power requirements for the machine. I assume that it is going to be 220V / 3 Phase which i can run a VFD from single phase to three phase, but i am worried about the amp draw?

Dose anyone have any idea what the amp draw might be?

    Thanks
    Michael

It looks like about 30 amps max at 240V single phase, spindle motor is 3.5KW (~5HP)
