    Question KFLOP and Midi

One of the things I loved about Mach3 was the ability to do a feed hold, jog about, change tools and fixtures and then resume. Linux CNC would not let me do that. Does KFLOP allow that? Have been out of machining for 4 years but am getting ready to build a step/dir lathe and mill and trying to decide what to use.

    Re: KFLOP and Midi

    Hi Roger,

With KMotionCNC you must Halt before you can Jog about and Resume. If you Jog while halted then when Resuming you will be prompted with the options shown below on how to resume back to where the Halt stopped:

    Attachment 376058

KMotionCNC also has a feature to reverse along the path while in feed hold. So you can do the following:

    #1 Cycle Start
    #2 Feed hold
    #3 Forward/Reverse
    #4 Halt
    #5 Jog
    #6 Resume/Cycle Start
