Winnc 13.76 Will it run on newer than win 98?

I recently lost the mobo on my Emco 325II Lathe. I was told ,y version 13.76 would only run on win 98. Has anyone had luck getting it to work on a newer version of Windows?

    TIA,
    Eric

The software will run, but you will have timing problems communicating with the machine. After Win 98 the OS had control of the parallel port timing not the software. This causes lots of issues with Gcode.

If you do not want win98, you will need to recondition the controls (bring them up to date). It is an expensive and in depth job. Not hard. but does require some knowledge of how cnc controls work.
