    Harrison Alpha postprocessor

    Hi,
I bought a 1998 Harrison Alpha 400 cheap. It did not come with dongel / license for alpha link software. I had a similar machine in 1999 and remember that alphalink was frustrating and using. I will use the machine privately and thought to use the Fusion360 as a cad cam solution.
Does anyone have an overview or knowledge that makes it possible to post and transfer programs to the machine.

    Re: Harrison Alpha posprocessor

    Hi
The Fusion360 does not have a post for the Alpha to my knowledge as it does not accept ISO programs unless it is an Alpha S, there is a chance if you use other software it will corrupt the software
There is an update to the software that is alot more friendly and is more useable than the DOS version, however only available on version 13 software Alpha if you pm me I'll check for you
As for comms best to use Serio Alpha
