    V Carve last pass feature?

    Hello again.

Can you give me a bit of advise?

I'm cutting 9mm MDF with 3 passes for a logo protect. When its finished, there are 2 lines showing on the edge (from the separate passes). I can sand them out but its quite time consuming.

I saw the feature that lets the last pass have a separate offset, so I made it 0.2 and its definitely better, but still not a clean flat edge.

Will the additional 'reverse on last pass' function improve this?

    Thanks.

It may, IF you climb cut the first passes, and conventional cut the final pass.

Make sure your spindle is perfectly trammed (perpendicular to the table).

It sounds like you machine has a fair amount of flex.

Its a pretty solid machine. Don't think theres any flex tbh. I will check the spindle. Thanks for suggestions.

If there's no flex, then you shouldn't be seeing any lines, if the spindle is trammed.
