My first low cost CNC and it is a Fanuc Autoprofiler CNC, 3M Model C that was apparently working with a DNC. However being a newbie to CNC the language in the Fanuc (General Numerics) manuals is not clear to me. Inside the CNC the parameter list is many times longer than the list provided in the manuals. The RS232 interface is a big question as to how it actually communicates with the outside world. Anyone know how to teach an old dog new tricks? Me and the Fanuc are included in that statement. I virtually need a hand holding episode with a Fanuc expert. I've tried everything possible and cannot talk to the machine. Anyone up for a remedial Fanuc tutorial? [email protected]
