    Hi kurmay,
what are the bytes after the asterisks? I haven't them.
is encryption performed with these bytes?
    My spec file is different.
Can you help me to understand? Please

So do you think proper encryption...or maybe just obfuscation? bit shift/ or add subract serial number? Shame we don't have exact same machine before after an okuma optional feature add. I'm doubtful of AES or DES encryption as US/JAPAN export/import rules would limit many encryption algorithms....plus CPU isn't monster on older machines.

Let me know if I can help in your endeavor.

5020L controls. Can I increase the memory? Would this be related?

Kind of related. First level upgrade is bit setting only. Unfortunately it just changes mapping if BB0: and BB1: so you already have useable memory in BB0: . Yes you can use it but don't fill it or you'll get into trouble.

Next levels actually add hardware to increase memory. Expensive and may no longer be available through Okuma.

    Best regards,

Ps> hello mcCoyheavy... how's the fecon working? ;-)

File name is LCU06-00-A.PBU for 5000series lathes.
You can find in BB0 memory.
