    Shimming the gang tooling

So folks, setting up the Slant Pro and everything is going pretty good. Setting up the gang tools and have run into a little bit of a problem (I think). In order to get my drills lined up with the centerline of the stock. I'm having to put .084" worth of shims in there. Oddly enough, there was a pack of 6 shims with the gang tool starter kit that each equal .042". So I guess my real question is, do you shim the riser block or the tool block. Seems that if you shim the tool block it kind of defeats the purpose of making them hot swapable.....

    Thoughts?

I shimmed the tool block...... they realized it took all of my shims because it was so low..... and wished I had just shimmed the riser block.

    EDIT: spelling
