Are Geckos better than the Parker Compumotor Zeta4

I have a choice to buy the zeta 4
    http://www.compumotor.com/manuals/ZE...v_A_Entire.pdf

for the same price as the GM215

    Is the parker better?

Looks like it has upto 50k microstepping, active damping etc.

my application is a diy 2'x4' wood cnc

    cheers

I would assume that the Parker is better? But I wouldn't pay $170 each for them.
One advantage is that you don't need a DC power supply.

But I'd also say that you don't need the features of a G215 for a router, when the G201X does the same thing for quite a bit less. My preference is Leadshine AM882's from Ebay for $70-$80 each.

For a small router, a lot of people just use a Gecko G540, or Leadshine MX4660.
