    Need Help with 4th axis

Hi I need help with 4th axis
I can move the 4th axis back and foward on the keyboard but when I load the the Gcode to mach3 (wich is a thread that I want to cut on a 1 1/2 round wood) the 4th axis does not turn, only the Y axis moves along the round wood.
but manualy I can turn it, What could be the problem is there a setting that I forgot I can not find it.
I would appreciate if someone can help me.
    thanks.

Is the 4th axis setup as the A axis, and does the gcode have A axis moves in it?
