    Is there a way ...

Is there a way to program the spindle to stop & open the door (has auto door) when option stop is on but not when option stop is off?
    Something like:
    N24 G28 U0 W0
    N25 If [some variable equals x] N28
    N26 M5
    N27 M52
    N28 M1

    Hi,

M00 stops the program always, M01 uses Optional Stop ON/OFF.
Try the M00 instead of M01.

Per Doug Rizzo, Doosan Applications, it can be done with the variables.
We are having our company Christmas party right now.
You can call him at 973-618-2425 on Monday, and he'll help you out.

    Interesting question Ted!

Seems pointless for others reading on this forum possibly 10yrs from now to solve something like this offline without returning to update the thread. Unless of course the P/N remains valid?

    Not *itchin J/S....

Doosan's service line has been in operation for over 30 years.

Doosan tries to assist here, but our office is available and is still the best way to reach us.

An internet search, presuming that there will be an internet in 10 years, will likely lead anyone looking for us to our updated or current phone number.

    As of this date:

    Doosan Toll free 888-323-9660
    Doosan Service 888-936-6726 (24 hours)

Doosan direct call in line 973-618-2500 (Dial 0 for the operator, from 8-5eastern)

Doosan Customer service if machine is broken:
Darryl Hardt (note: I am "field service" so I'm not available if "at a customer's site")
    Office: 973-618-2461
    Cell: 973-803-9479

Doosan Customer service if needing Applications advice:
    Doug Rizzo
    Office: 973-618-2425

We do try to help here, but ultimately there are better ways to reach us...
Please note, this was only meant to provide the contact information and put it into perspective. Not *itchin J/S....
