Boss Laser 65w Tube 5,000 hours

    Boss laser lists a 65w CO2 Tube for $597.

States up to 5,000 hour life. Its a 1200mm tube. First, I thought 1200mm was 60w. Second, that seems like an really long time for a CO2 tube. I need a new tube so I'm intrigued. Is this realistic? Does anyone have any experience with this tube?

    Thanks
    Chris

Do they mean 5000 hours from the date that is on the tube or for the time the tube runs. Remember that they do say up to but that could be just a few seconds of use.

if the tube is 1200 mm its a 60 watt tube not 65, it will probably put out 65 watt at the beginning but will drop pretty quick to 60 watts. As for 5000 hours it says up to 5000 which means to me anything from 5 min's to 5000 hours with maybe getting 1000 to 2000 a good bet
