    Experience with cohesion3d controller card

    Hi,

I am planing to buy a card that can run smoothiware that support atleast 5 steppers. My main candidates are cohesion3d, smoothiboard and Azteeg X5 GT. A cheaper option is to use MKS SBASE V1.3 from china.

I like cohesion3d because it can control up to 6 motors. This may be useful in the future. However I could not find much discussions on cohesion3d so wanted to see if anyone in this forum has any experiences that can be shared.
Any experience related to other boards are also useful.

    Thanks
    S

There are very few using smoothieware here. It’s mostly used on 3D printers and lasers. I have a cohesion3d mini on my CO2 laser. It’s been working well for about a year.

Google groups is the most active and there is also a Facebook group.
