    mastercam x9 with tsugami swiss turn

    tsugami programming on mastercam

    i have a machine called swiss turn tsugami...i want to make pro gramme from mastercam x9..already make programe fro cnc turning center,,,but cant find the way to make programme for tsugami...please advice me ......

    it programs just as any other fanuc controlled subspindle lathe, except the main on the tsugami is +z where most regular lathes are -z on the main.This is common across all swiss types i believe.
    Where it becomes more complex it the different axis combinations involved in swiss, that is not an everyday thing on a regular lathe.

    Its possible if you are familiar with programing in mastercam lathe. I have made a pretty awesome post for my Star with upper left, upper right and lower right axis combinations that requires no editing. It was a chore, but anything is possible in master cam. Unfortunately it is not a one sentence reply. If you are truly interested message me.
